Thanks, Webbie, for \"Summertime\". The blues version is one of my favorite songs ever. I couldn\'t hear a note on \"lucky lips\" but the p*nk jacket was as interesting as the title.

Got a horseshoe or two i\'d be willing to spare, Mies! If I could weld, i\'d be making a killing since there are all sorts of designs with horseshoes in flea markets around here.

Pat, do you mean \"tear off your arms and legs\"? We have that expression, as well as \"i\'m gonna pull your hair out\". Mom was definitely frustrated when she said these things! It was usually said as in, \"if you do that one more time, i will ______ (fill in the blank) I smile about it now, but THEN i\'d be quaking in me boots!

Living on the Brazos River we had a share of the flooding. Nasty business. Poor people and their creatures. Saddest sound in the world is hearing cattle caught in a flood...

On that happy note, have a good Tuesday.

Congratulations, Liz, to you and your son and your daughter-in-law. Reghan is framed now by the two boys and she sure likes it.

I\'m a bit late with my congrats but I was too busy the last days. Franka was here over the weekend and too many things piled up. So, I have to catch some posts and a lot of cleeks that sound interesting.

See you this evening.

That\'s right, that\'s what prehensile means, Mr. Mies. I couldn\'t remember until you reminded me. Possums also have a prehensile tail. Can a rhino hang by it\'s upper lip?

Does Mies think I\'d better \"Keep On Running\"? Hehehehehe.

I\'m going to bed, now. I had a very busy day.

Prehensile means they have control over it, a spider monkey has a prehensile tail and can use it to cling to branches and things. Prehensile appendages are usually used like we would use our fingers.

Hah, but wait, Mr. Rhino identifier. Maybe he was smiling, and the prehensile lip doesn\'t show up much when they smile.

Anyway, I forgot what \"Prehensile\" means I think I forgot how to spell it too. Whatever.

I\'m still working on the other puzzle. Mies better fess up.

See what happens when you try to post, write parts orders, & look up the correct spelling of prehensile. Another beautiful Mark Westlake pictures appears on the POD, as if from nowhere. Is that small island available for use as a duck blind?

Hey!!! Leave me out of this I\'m innocent. (this time)

Nice rhino picture Thank Kirsten Kjaer. That looks like a White Rhino, called that not because of their color but because of their wide lip. The other African Rhino species, the Black Rhino has a pointed prehensile upper lip and that is todays Rhino species identification lesson. As Pat would say \"Your Welcome\"

Holy Mackerel, flooding in Kerry, too, Mark Westlake? That\'s a good shoton CAM 5. At least the sun was shining on that day.

Ha, Liz, I haven\'t offered to tear anybody\'s arms and legs off for a long while. I must be mellowing. I hope not.

Phillis, do you have that expression where you are, or is it purely a Georgia one? You are the only other Southerner I know on this GB. I\'ve never heard it up North. Usually said in jest to small children in an effort to make them behave.

Mies, that\'s wicked to blame everything on poor Mr. Mies. It\'s you and Webbie who are in cahoots.

I have to go and think, now.

Bye.

Wot\'s going on here??!!! (See, here\'s where I could have used an exclamadoodle, or whatever it was called.)

I leave to go to the bank in Monticello, then pop back in on my way past home to go to Tallahassee, and all kinds of intrigue starts up.

I can\'t research this at the moment, but I think it has something to do with little truckies.

I\'ll get to the bottom of this this evening.

Be afraid, Mies and Webbie. Be very afraid.

Mornin\'...

Good news, Liz, that little Byron has arrived and all is well. Congratulations to parents and grandparents and young cousins, too. And God Bless the baby.

Nice cleek to go with the event, Webbie.

Very handsome rhino, as rhinos go, on CAM 5, Kirsten Kjaer. I still wouldn\'t want to meet up with it in a dark alley.

I read that the flooding in Ireland is very bad, the worst in 800 years, and I think it\'s bad in England, too, but it is lucky in that nobody has died because of it, thank God.

I\'m very lazy this morning, I haven\'t done a worthwhile lick of work yet, and it\'s almost noon. It\'s a beautiful day, though, and I have some errands to run this afternoon, so I\'d better get cracking.

Y\'all be good.
