Jack2, you\'ll feel so much better afterward. My sister-in-law had it done and it made a world of difference. I know it\'s nothing to look forward to, but feeling better afterward is...good luck with it.

Hello Liz you will be pleased to know that I went to the hospital today and the stents that they put in my artery didn\'t work so the doctor said I will probably need bypass surgery on my leg to stop me limping.....Jack2

Mr. M, no need to wait; you\'re welcome anytime. The quail are about hunted out in our area. The hubby tells stories of them from his youthful hunting days. But there is always something in season in Texas...so come on down. I\'ll see have have all the pickled okra and pickled beets you can eat.

Liz, Tex-Mex can be very hot if you add jalapeno or habanero peppers. I\'m not that brave.

Treasa, I hate that kind of weather with the tedious driving. Stay safe and warm.

To everyone else, happy Tuesday.

Hi Liz, glad you had a lovely time with family. I think J1 is having a bad influence on Webbie, I saw him tipsy here on the GB........lol Btw, Patricia, I didn\'t know that Webbie came from a Christmas stocking....Thanks for the info. Yes Webbie we are having our share of controversy around these parts. Bad, bad publicity. Shocking for the families involved. Of course the spotlight has now shifted on to someone else, someone more noteable..... It\'s someone\'s turn everyday.

Hi Phillis, sounds like you are enjoying your Christmas already. It is good to be happy and enjoy this time of year.

Peace and goodwill to all our GB friends, and enjoy the holiday season. I pray each and every one of you has a happy Christmas, and I hope each of you gets a least one happy surprise in your stocking.

Off to work. Will take me 30 minutes to travel what is usually a 6 minute drive...

Take care everyone, catch you all later.

Morning everyone.

Well winter is here to stay. Cars are frozen to the ground with ice and snow. Travel is at 10 mph. Journeys home for Christmas are going to be tiresome. Johnny and Magda are off to Poland tomorrow, so I hope they don\'t have too much of a delay. Magda is so looking forward to being with her family for Christmas.

Mr. Mies, yes I remember this time last year ye had so much snow and cold weather, while we just had lots of rain. Seems its the reverse this year. Man you must be in big trouble if you didn\'t notice all Mies hard work with the tree and lights... Hi Mies, is everything done for Christmas now? I got the tree and lights up on Sunday morning but I still have to get my head around shopping. Hope the shops are open this evening.... then I will get what I need.

Phillis-Tex-Mex sounds delicious, Mies & I love it, also old fashioned Texas BBQ. I remember stopping in Bay City, TX & getting all the deep fried quail you could eat on a buffet. That & pickled okra on the salad bar, I loved my TX trip, great food, good people, & great fishing. If my ex-brother-in-law really moves there I\'m going to go back.

A beautiful day here, sunny and mild. A day full of good surprises in the mail and a nice dinner out with the hubby. We had Tex-Mex food, which is spicy mexican food, at a local restaurant. Shopping is almost done, reading a good book, and our family is well and happy. What a blessed time this is!

Good to see you are back safe and sound, Liz.

Nice selection of Christmas cleeks, Webbie. Thank you. Lovely to see the horses in the snow, and of course, it wouldn\'t be Christmas without \"Sleighride\". Annette, don\'t forget to tell us how to do those contraband smilies when you have time. I would have used a music one for mentioning \"Sleighride\".

Got a lot to do.

Bye!

Eamon-Thanks for that \"we never died a winter yet\" how true. It just seemed like I would the last 2 years. What a difference a year makes. Last year at this time 2\' of snow & zero F, today a light rain & high 40\'s. We were hunting in T-Shirts.

Oh, Molly is going to be a great pointer. At 5 1/2 months she didn\'t miss a beat today. When we pulled into Alan\'s farm, I saw his German Shorthair standing in the shop door. Then it hit me, it was a little Mini-Shorthair. HooDoo a 3 month old clone of Birdie. What a little doll, she took up a place between my feet & decided from there she could whip all 4 of the other dogs, growling & yipping until they got close, then retreating to safety under my chair.

Hi everyone from a white snow-bound Kingdom. Yep, it\'s snowing and was snowing last night. Travel very bad, and I have to go to town in a short while. As you know we live on top of a steep hill, and I don\'t know how I\'m going to get the car down there without going into the ditch!!!!

Jack sure picked a grand time to come to Ireland, though I see it isn\'t snowing in the Capital, just along the western half of the country. Temperatures in minus figures since last Tuesday/Wednesday..

It would be nice if we didn\'t have to travel anywhere.

Brother taken to hospital at 1am this morning. Very bad again. Sister in law came home on Friday, and is confined to walking with crutches, having had a plate secured with screws put into her ankle.

Christmas..... Bah... Humbug.

Catch you all later.

Webmaster-Comment: Hope all improves Treasa. And ye have that other dreadful controversy down there to deal with now as well....

Well I have just had a phone call from me mate Jack1 he and Jenny are having a great time in Dublin and they send their Christmas Wishes to every one, even to Queensland.

He said it is very cold in the day and worse at night, but Jenny is keeping him nice and warm,I think they are going to make a good couple.

Webmaster-Comment: Jenny's oldest sister wants me to go over a month before the wedding - I think she'd like us to become acquainted before the wedding. Jack says he thinks she may have marriage on her mind but no one has consulted me about that issue. Typical woman.....lorl.....could be a double yet.....
