Hmmmmm. Well, Mr. Mies, I was in the same century, at least. Give me SOME credit.

I must have misread something Mies wrote. I was reading back, looking for something else, and came across Mies talking about a 35 year anniversary. Come to think about it, Caleb\'s age would make that unlikely. It must have been somebody elses\' anniversary. I was going by pretty fast, but it doesn\'t matter, I still think you should take her to Hawaii. Call for reservations and get packed. You\'re welcome.

Pat-Not bad you only missed it by about 4 months & 10 years or so. We are going the same place we always go for it. The walleye tournament in Moses Lake.

BULLETIN, BULLETIN!

I think today is the Meises 35th anniversary.

Imagine, 35 years is a very long time to be married, especially to the same person, congratulations are certainly in order, and I think it is wonderful that Mr. Mies is taking Mies to Hawaii next week to celebrate. It will be nice to get out of cold WA for 2 weeks.

Hehehehehe.

Hey, Steph. You are right, Spring is not too far away. I\'ve got bougainvilla leafing out again. after all the leaves died and fell off during the cold spell, and I\'m watching for the flocks of robins that land in my yard on their way North. That usually happens in mid-February. I\'m always happy to see them because it means Spring is only a couple of weeks away, at least on the East Coast.

And all the rest of you, have a good day, too.

Bye!

Hey, Micilin, you sneaked in while I was out posting. If I am not mistaken, Phillis lives in West Texas, which is much more hilly and prettier than East Texas which is a flatter land. Personally, I haven\'t been any further west in Texas than San Antonio, so I\'d better let Phillis tell about that. Maybe she\'ll send some pics around.

But then, it\'s the people who bring the real interest and flavor to a place, and it sounds like you are enjoying your book.

I\'ll have to read back and get the title, I\'m due for a trip to the library soon.

Have a good day.

Mornin\'...

\'Night, Liz.

Good cleeks, Webbie. You must be feeling like romantic music on this Monday morning...no Rock to be heard. But that\'s OK, EH is fine anytime, that\'s still a lot of man and a lot of voice. Mies, don\'t listen to the last cleek. I don\'t know what \"tecleo\" means, maybe it\'s underground Engelbert Humperdinck.

Nice day here, sun has come out and about 65F high this afternoon. The best time of the year in Florida. Where is Jeanie, she\'ll know about that. Phillis and Annette, Jeanie lives in the very fine horse country in Florida, the Ocala stud farms are famous. And it also is the most beautiful, rolling hills country in Florida. It\'s a fairyland in Spring, when the redbud and dogwood are in bloom. Truly magic.

Hello S O\'Muiri.

Hillview, Bucks, England - I\'m curious.

Another manky gray day here.

Really need some sunshine, although I did notice the crocuses poking their little heads up yesterday so that cheered me up a little bit.

Hello Phillis

Found this review.

Joe Lansdale brings rural East Texas to life with Sunset and Sawdust gathering positive reviews. The Denver Post says, \"What\'s more, Lansdale\'s prose - laconic and sarcastic - is so thick with slang and regional accent that it\'s as tasty as a well-cured piece of beef jerky. Readers will want to savor each bite as they chew on his tangy, east Texas prose, finding themselves enraptured with this tale of a woman who perseveres against all odds.\"

The Dome was a great read except I thought that the end was a bit feeble.

Horses plus Texas = cowboys.

Do you live on a ranch by any chance?

Annette, I\'ll have to take some current photos of the horses. The ones I have are a couple of years old...but I\'ll work on that.

Liz, my shoulder is still in a pickle. Not much movement with it in certain directions. I am not doing the home exercises because of the pain (I\'m a sissy) Going back to the therapist today tho. Thanks for asking.

Steph, I bet you\'re really looking forward to spring. Aren\'t those earthquakes at Yellowstone a scary thing? I heard they were registered at 6.1.

Phillis-Yup they were the only BBQ in town for 20 or more years. A couple years after the snake incident people were still finding snakes in the steam tunnels under downtown. They sponsored our bowling team for a few years & Bob, who was their bartender, said they were still laughing about it.

Hello all! 56 days until spring!!!! Yippee!! Well another cold week, and some snow, but now it\'s over. I had a good week, but have decided that I am moving my computer back upstairs so I can work on it. It\'s too cold downstairs.

Well nothing much going on here, except earthquakes in Yellowstone.

Well love and hugs,

Just had a nice time with Webbie\'s cleeks of this weekend. John Lee Hooker, great... That\'s the pleasant end of a lovely weekend with Franka. She left us about two hours ago packed with our love but also with a huge case of goodies. Probably, mothers always think their children will starve when they are on their own.

Still, it\'s pretty cold here in Erfurt and new snow is forecast for the coming night. The line of the cold airmass that comes from the east and the warm airmass that comes from the west divides Germany nearly in the middle. England and Ireland get some warm air from the west and feel the spring... *sigh*

Phillis, I\'m so curious. Could you send some photos of your horses, please? If you don\'t mind. I promise I won\'t steal one. hehehehe

Have a nice start into the new week all.

I\'m still hearing the tune from the harmonica player...so lively. And that little boy sax player-WOW. Did anyone else notice the gorgeous flower arrangements at that church? Mercy, that\'s some big bucks invested if they were fresh flowers, but beautiful nevertheless.

At least Mr. M danced with you, Mies. The hubby refuses to. I bet no one else messes with those two brothers from Texas after that rattlesnake bit...lol

Hiya, Pat! The fence is almost completed. The weather really messed us up time wise. But yes, this beautiful weather is much nicer, although it was a bit chilly and rainy Saturday. So looking forward to spring. Already have the urge to plant things.

Went to my neighbor\'s 87th birthday party yesterday. Webbie, you would have enjoyed all the live music from local musicians. A keyboardist, a fiddle player and a beautiful voice really made things special for my neighbor. She loves music.

Great cleeks and YUP, those were the songs Mr. M & I used to dance to. First time I danced with him he warned me the only dance he knew was the South Dakota Two Step and he was right. He two stepped on my feet most of the night. But, I guess I must\'ve thought he was pretty cute doing it..

Thanks for the Cleeks Webbie, not dateing ourselves, but Mies & I danced to Woolly Bully in high school. Yes I danced way back when, just never very good.

Mmmm, Texas BBQ, our local BBQ restaurant was started by 2 brothers from Texas, still the best BBQ around here. When they first opened their business was pretty good, so another BBQ joint opened a block away. One morning they came in to open & found about 100 rattlesnakes in their dinning room. So much for the competition

Hey, Phillis.

Isn\'t it great to have some decent weather for a change? I was getting pretty tired of the cold.

How\'s the fence building going? There\'s always something to do when you live in the country.
