Liz, \"ongoing bbq\'s\" sounds like you\'re in Texas! We bbq in all weather...

Mick, we\'re still a bunch of yahoos. Time didn\'t help too much! Enjoy your novel. I bought Stephen King\'s \"Under the Dome\" as a Christmas present for my brother. How did you like it? I\'m reading a Patricia Cornwell right now.

But wait, I forgot to tell you this. I just read about a study conducted in England that showed that beautiful women complain more than women who are just average looking.

Really, by those standards, I must be a downright Helen of Troy.

Or maybe I\'m just mean as snakes.

Whatever.

Hehehehehe.

Me again

Mr Mies - Thanks for your felicitations.

Spring, I love it and you\'re right it\'s not too far round the corner.

Woodpeckers are hammering and lots of song birds are already tuning-up for the dawn chorus.

Be a little while yet before they\'re in full voice, but it\'s real nice to hear them chirping, whittering and warbling on my morning walk in the woods.

Hello chaps

Well that\'s another week at the cutting edge of local journalism at an end - just 61 to go and FREEDOM.

Mar me ol\' mucker - reckon the antibiotics are working on the chest infection, but my inflamed big toe that I didn\'t mention coz I didn\'t want to come across as a whingeing pom/limey is giving me real gyp.

Hope y\'all got your haggis ready for Burns Night tomorrow.

Liz - Love that litte shop, unfortunately places like that are a real rarity in these parts now.

By the way it\'s raining again and more predicted for the weekend - lot warmer though.

Hey Texas ow\'s yer belly off for spots. Reading a book set in Texas in the 1930s, sure are a wild bunch of yahoos.

That\'s not nice, Mr. Mies, sending a storm to Steph. Can you really swim by March? It sounds like your climate is somewhat milder than Steph\'s. Floridians don\'t go to the beach till about March, either, at the earliest...all those people on the Florida beaches in January are Yankees or visiting Irishmen. They don\'t know any better.

As to swimming at the Forty-foot in Dublin in January...you\'d have to be half pi*king Polar Bear. I think you are fibbing, Webbie. Would YOU do that? Hehehehehe.

I\'m off to have some lunch and then do some work. Y\'all be good.

Nice pic of the Joli Grocery on CAM 5, Liz. Cute place, looks like just the kind of old building I love, nicely maintained and not ruined by modernization. The mystique that comes from years of feet treading on those old door steps can\'t be manufactured. Except by Walt Disney, maybe.

Hi, Clarence, seems you have been there? Good for you.

Seems we have a couple of sickies...Micilin and Mar. I hope you\'re better soon.

Mornin\'...

It is beautifully sunny and warm here today, will be about 73F this afternoon. Days like this in January are why God made Florida.

Mar, I have a Word document as well, I did the same thing you did, so I can use all those that Annette set up, they are great, but I am looking for some others and can\'t get them to work. I broke the GB yesterday, and had to high-tail it out of here in a hurry before Webbie caught me. I don\'t think he knows it was me who did it...so don\'t tell.

Liz-Nice picture on CAM5, I agree a cup of tea & a muffin there would be great.

A new storm is brewing, but should go about 100 miles south of us & head on a collision course with Steph & the Rockys. We could get a little sn*w from it, but not to much.

Mar & Mick-I hope you both get over your illnesses soon, spring is coming & you need to enjoy it.

Webbie-We don\'t have a forty foot here, but they swim at Lake Coeur D\'Alene starting on New Years Day. Not me, I always waited until mid-March to test the waters.

Annette, thank you for the new smilies, they’re nice ☺ ☻

Mick, I love the picture of Seamus in the snow, I would be a bit afraid of being in a forest in the night, but I see you can get nice shiny pictures… I’m glad to know Seamus is improving, I don’t think you’re to blame for his illness, it’s nobody’s fault, I hope your chest infection will be over soon, take care, friend

Phillis, Damon, Kathleen, Mies, Jeanie, Steph, Treasa, Mike N, Madame Woo, María Asunción, Seán, Dermot, Sue, Gary, Jim, Marie, Eamon, I hope you\'re all ok too

Off to have lunch (though I\'m not hungry at all...), I hope you all will have a perfect weekend, take care and have all the fun you can!

Liz, Prince William doesn’t know what he lost not going to visit you, such a fool The little shop in cam-5 looks great, it seems perfect for a cup of tea with some delicious muffin, mmm...

Mr.Mies, yes, I know it’s hard to get nice pictures of some nervous dogs, I can never take good shots of my sister’s Doberman (Rita), she never stops!

Pat, what I did is to copy and paste Annette’s symbols in a word document, I have them saved there, and whenever I’ll need them, I’ll copy and paste them here again, simple, Webbie’s not to blame… this time…

Hello everyone, I hope you\'re all fine, I\'m improving, though I\'m still voiceless and tired, but I\'ll be feeling great again soon. I\'m fed up of being at home, I already finished knitting my second scarf (black and grey, I think it\'s nice...) and sleeping enough, I\'ll try to answer all my mails and to read my novel in the afternoon, if my head lets me do it, we\'ll see...

Webbie, thanks for the last cleeks, I loved the songs, and Elvis was a cute nice boy in his childhood and youth You won’t see me at the Forty Foot, I get frozen only thinking in these cold waters, bbrrrhhh!!!! :2

Nice picture of the Joli Grocery, Ms. Connolly, did you have a muffin there? I saw on the InKinKin net that their passionfruit muffins were very tasty. That Gympie Kin Kin Road is a beautiful drive, reminded me of many places in Texas.

Well, that\'s a very good computer drawing thumbs-up you gave us Webbie, but not what we are looking for. How did Mar\'s little squares turn into symbols? I think Webbie\'s the culprit, Annette...he\'s playing games. Research will continue as I have time. Never fear, we will be successful.

Good cleeks, Webbie. It\'s raining steadily here, and I can\'t go outdoors. I\'ll come back and listen to those again. Reminds me of my early dancing days.

Hello chaps

Pleased y\'all liked the pic.

I know lots of people who won\'t go in the woods after dark, but it\'s my favourite time, coz we mostly have them to ourselves - except for the occasional go-by-night and they don\'t bother me.

Mar - Yep, little ol\' dog\'s getting along slow but I doubt he\'ll ever be climbing trees after the squirrels again.

Reckon it\'s probably my fault for taking him on long walks when he was a pup before his bones hardened.

Doc gave me some antibiotics for my chest infection and hopefully it\'ll soon start to clear up.

At least I don\'t have to pay for prescriptions anymore because of my great age.

Liz - Thanks for looking after prince willy for us.

Pat - it\'s a lovely poem.

Shhhhhhhhhh, don\'t tell Webbie. I\'m not here. Seems he is a tad angry with me but I don\'t know why. I just tried to support some wishes of the GBers for new smilies. Eventually, every search and development is connected with failures. You have to stand the mess and the trouble. But in the long run it will pay off. And then Webbie is going to be rich as it is his website. I just placed my work in his service.
