Micilin, my wishes for a speedy recovery to Mrs. Micilin.

It is said that we had about an hour of mixed snow and rain here last night just after midnight, but I was sleeping and didn\'t see it. Very rare occurrence. It has been raining here all day, chilly and damp. 42F at the moment, and will drop to 29F tonight. Normal lows are in the 40\'s this time of year.

Yes, we have had strange weather this year. Strange enough to be hearing people ask what happened to global warming, we were talking about that at the office the other day, and remembering that it isn\'t really called \"global warming\" any more, now it\'s \"climate change\" which means that temperature extremes both hot and cold will get stronger, and big weather events like hurricanes and tornados and droughts will be worse. That seems to be happening.

Continued...

Patricia

Cont.

This is the coldest winter I\'ve ever been in in North Florida, and it sounds like Phillis is having the same thing, and the Meises weather is screwed up, too. It is reported that some native plants that had been so common in places they had been named \"State Flowers\" are in danger of going extinct in some states. Very strange.

Howdy pardners

Sorry I haven\'t been around for a few days, but \'er indoors has been in hospital having surgery for women\'s problems\'

All is well, however, and she hopes to be discharged on Sunday.

Phillis - seems like the weather everywhere has gone pear shaped, rural Bedfordshire is experiencing the coldest weather for yonks.

Can\'t wait for the spring and some warm sunshine.

Liz my lover - happy Valentine\'s Day.

Lovely \"lace\" on POD. We are snow covered here. Occasionally, I hear the snow falling in clumps from the roof. The hubby just missed a mass of snow falling on him as he walked in the door last night. It slides so easily off the metal roof. This is a wet, beautiful snow, but sn*w it is...not my favorite thing. I just can\'t tell you how unusual this weather is for here. We normally see a light snow twice a year. This is the third heavy snow since Christmas. Still, it\'s not earthquakes, thank God. What\'s happening in the rest of the world? I\'m bored and boring!!

Jack, it does help even tho it can be painful. I just wish it would help a little faster than it does. You\'ve been suffering a long time so I hope it goes well for you.

Overcast & rain off & on for the next 4 or 5 days. When i left this morning at 7am it was 39F. Our outlook for water this summer is a little bleak though. We have some snow pack in the mountains, but not even close to normal. The good news for the farmers is all the rain we have gotten the last few weeks has all soaked in. At Allan\'s farm, last weekend, he already has 1 field disced & ready to seed. Thats about 6 weeks ahead of schedule.

I had therapy scheduled for this morning and class for tonight. But I am sitting at home on the computer because--well, maybe you can guess--it is SN*WING again! I have never seen this much sn*w in our area. Wonder where my poor robin has gone to...maybe to see the Mies\'!

Hi Liz! Hope you are having a good rest.

Jack 2, it is frustrating that no one can say what causes it. If I only knew, I\'d be sure and not do it again! They told me I could skip the therapy and it would get better on its own in about 2 years. Sorry it has taken 3 for yours. I might wish this on my worst enemy, but I\'d have to think about it a long time before I did. It hurts and interferes with so much of my daily activity. Still, it\'s better than what some have to deal with. Thanks for sharing with me. It helps to know I\'m not the only one...

Hi Phillis.

Like I said earlier I have had Bursitis in my left shoulder for about 3 years and it has just got a little better in my right shoulder i have had it for about 18 months and that one is still very painful I am still taking pain killers, they say it will eventually get better on it\'s own,but nobody can tell me how long it will take or what causes it. I hope yours gets better with the physio.it is a bloody painful thing and I would not wish it on anybody.....Jack2

Just popping in to say hello. Been busy working 12 hour shifts and sleeping in between. No rest for the wicked...lovely little hare, Mr. Westlake. I\'m afraid all my bunnies have scampered away since the big dogs have come to live with us. The squirrels are at risk too since my Hobo likes to hunt them. (Hobo is a big dog with lots of pup left in her. She brings me dead squirrels for a present about twice a week.)

Valentine\'s Day is upon us, my mom\'s birthday. The hubby will get his favorite chocolates, Rollo candy. Hope you all are having a lovely life as mine has been very boring lately. Just physical therapy, work and class. They say my shoulder is improving even tho I still can\'t comb my hair very well. ah, well, too old and too married to care what I look like! Have a wonderful Thursday/Friday.
