Overcast & rain off & on for the next 4 or 5 days. When i left this morning at 7am it was 39F. Our outlook for water this summer is a little bleak though. We have some snow pack in the mountains, but not even close to normal. The good news for the farmers is all the rain we have gotten the last few weeks has all soaked in. At Allan\'s farm, last weekend, he already has 1 field disced & ready to seed. Thats about 6 weeks ahead of schedule.

I had therapy scheduled for this morning and class for tonight. But I am sitting at home on the computer because--well, maybe you can guess--it is SN*WING again! I have never seen this much sn*w in our area. Wonder where my poor robin has gone to...maybe to see the Mies\'!

Hi Liz! Hope you are having a good rest.

Jack 2, it is frustrating that no one can say what causes it. If I only knew, I\'d be sure and not do it again! They told me I could skip the therapy and it would get better on its own in about 2 years. Sorry it has taken 3 for yours. I might wish this on my worst enemy, but I\'d have to think about it a long time before I did. It hurts and interferes with so much of my daily activity. Still, it\'s better than what some have to deal with. Thanks for sharing with me. It helps to know I\'m not the only one...

Hi Phillis.

Like I said earlier I have had Bursitis in my left shoulder for about 3 years and it has just got a little better in my right shoulder i have had it for about 18 months and that one is still very painful I am still taking pain killers, they say it will eventually get better on it\'s own,but nobody can tell me how long it will take or what causes it. I hope yours gets better with the physio.it is a bloody painful thing and I would not wish it on anybody.....Jack2

Just popping in to say hello. Been busy working 12 hour shifts and sleeping in between. No rest for the wicked...lovely little hare, Mr. Westlake. I\'m afraid all my bunnies have scampered away since the big dogs have come to live with us. The squirrels are at risk too since my Hobo likes to hunt them. (Hobo is a big dog with lots of pup left in her. She brings me dead squirrels for a present about twice a week.)

Valentine\'s Day is upon us, my mom\'s birthday. The hubby will get his favorite chocolates, Rollo candy. Hope you all are having a lovely life as mine has been very boring lately. Just physical therapy, work and class. They say my shoulder is improving even tho I still can\'t comb my hair very well. ah, well, too old and too married to care what I look like! Have a wonderful Thursday/Friday.

Hey, Big Z, how are you? I might have known that a mention of beer would bring you out of hibernation.

I just talked to my relatives in Baltimore and they now have 14 inches of new snow on top of the more than 24 they had last week...so they have more than 3 feet of snow, and are snowed in. So far, they\'ve lost electricity only for about 24 hours last week, but you don\'t know what this new snow will bring. They have plenty of supplies and food, and are warm as they have oil heat, but they are all getting tired of it.

Continued...

Cont.

City government in Baltimore has shut down all traffic on the streets except ambulances and fire trucks and police cars and snow plows. In other words, if you can\'t walk there, you aren\'t going. And it is hard to walk in 3 feet of snow. Snowshoes are not usual equipment in that area, it normally has a mild climate.

It seem that you will enjoy Spring all the more this year, Annette, when it finally comes.

Ah, so you\'ve got my robins, Mieses. Tell them I miss them.

Are you saying it is getting a little cooler there, Liz? Sorry, I know you don\'t like cold weather. Soon you will be like us, wishing it would get warmer.

I\'m gone. Y\'all Take Care.

Liz-The sn*w is in Washington DC clear across the country from us. We have no sn*w here & haven\'t had any all winter. It has been like spring since Christmas.

Annette-Now you understand why I was so crabby all last winter & the one before that too.

Temperatures here dropped again and are around -10C / 14F. We have frost and snow for about seven weeks now. I can\'t say that I see any robins or other birds at all. It\'s very sad but we found a lot of dead birds meanwhile. I put a lot of birdseed and nuts and apples out in the garden but they don\'t come to eat and I don\'t know why. Last year I had to fill up the birdhouse three times a week and there were dozens of birds around. Forecasters say more snow will come this night and tomorrow and so the situation won\'t ease either.

I still try to send the snow to the Mieses...

I can\'t really concentrate today. I\'m so fed up with our weather. That makes me cranky. My life is ruined.

Pat-You haven\'t seen the flocks of robins yet because they never left here this winter. There were several flocks on the Palouse Sunday. Plus lots of Red Shafted Flickers, they all think it\'s spring here. I\'m just hoping it is. Mid 40\'sF & some rain the next 4 or 5 days. The snow levels may be down around 2500\' but that\'s not a sure thing.

I think RTE news has upgraded it\'s video facilities, I never have been able to get them here, they kept breaking up and the sound was awful, but I got excellent reception of an entire program with George Lee on about his resignation yesterday. Very interesting, too. Seems politics and the political machines are about the same everywhere.

Where is that Webbie, there are no cleeks at all lately. I am feeling the lack of cleeks very severely. Has he been kidnapped again? I\'m telling you, I am not sending in my $1.47 for his rescue fund again, I\'m beginning to think that is just a scam because I can\'t imagine what anyone would want with him, he\'d probably eat them out of house and home in short order, anyway, not to mention the Guinness consumption rate. They\'ll just send him back soon, I think.

I\'m off downtown today, work and errands. Y\'all be good.

Pat
